Smoke Generators 

The Marlen M-1000 features a 4.2 cu. ft. integral loading hopper designed to more easily receive full bags of wood chips with far less spillage.

The cabinet of the unit, with separate smoke and ash chamber doors, is entirely made of stainless steel construction and features an electrically-heated, cast iron ignition plate and an automatic fire-suppression system.

The Marlen unit is compatible with existing smoke duct systems as it connects to both 6” and 7” diameter smoke ducts. Control is from an optional remote PLC panel or from existing smokehouse control.

Marlen boasts a cleaner, more reliable smoke generating unit with improved smoke application repeatability.

The Marlen M-500 generates natural smoke by igniting and burning logs in an enclosed, insulated, stainless steel chamber. The open flame produces a unique smoke flavor that cannot be achieved with traditional sawdust or chip smoke generators. In addition to the authentic flavor, the M-500 produces the “pink ring” associated with BBQ products.

Logs are continually re-ignited with programmed timers using an onboard PLC located in the main enclosure. Logs may be replenished through an insulated, stainless steel door.

Measuring 45” x 46.5” x 48”, the M-500 requires minimal space and can be stacked using an optional stand to maximize production. The firebox interior is fully-welded 304 stainless steel and is insulated with 3” board-type mineral wool rated to 900 degrees Fahrenheit. Heat shields are included on all sides and door, except bottom.
