Arlington, Va.; Jan. 9, 2009 — At a special meeting held Jan. 7, PMMI’s Board of Directors elected Jim Anderson, CEO of Marlen, to serve as Chairman in 2009. Anderson, who served as Chairman in 2007–2008, was nominated to fill the term after Randy L. Spahr, recently with Goodman Packaging Equipment, resigned his volunteer PMMI position.

In addition, Richard S. Schneider, president of Schneider Packaging Equipment Co., Inc., was elected to the Board. Schneider replaces Robert M. Storms, director of sales and marketing, Moen Industries, who resigned his volunteer position at PMMI to focus on corporate efforts. Schneider has served on the Membership Committee since 1997, and was a Board Member from 2004–2007.
